+1 ... I find I ride solo more and more each year. I ride the pace I want to ride, stop when I want to stop, etc.

I've done too many group rides that were just big swinging d*ck contests and an hour of boasting afterwards about who you beat to what town limit signs etc. God forbid you show up at some of these club rides without freshly shaved legs either. Funny thing is, you'd think some of these people were making a living racing.
