I'm not condoning or suggesting that everyone do this, but it's a less obtrusive way of making those adjustments. I do it only when I'm quite bored waiting for the rest of my party to finish shopping.

That's the thing- you "can't do it" but if you do you might end up saving someone's neck. But then again it can always come back to bite you, despite the best intentions. Damned if you do, damned if you don't (well if you want to keep someone from breaking their neck). heh
