- I will try a re-shim (again) first and maybe look at centering the pistons if one is quite far out..

I now suspect they probably need to be faced (I didn't know brake mounts needed facing also) i did notice it was rubbing more to one end of the rubbing pad & that could be caused by uneaven paint ?

Also, comment from LowCel - how do you clean the pads then when they get dirty - just pull a cloth or towel between them ? I would prefer to leave them in once I get them set up right.
