Complete Build Less Than $500.00? We Will See
For some reason I just bought a "Leader" Aero Frame on Ebay. I wasn't planning on it. It is a sickness. I guess it can be a trainer and foul weather bike. I am going to try and build it for less than $500.00. We shall see.
Here is what I have; Easton Circuit Wheels, Dura Ace Brakes, Dura Ace Rear Derailuer, Easton EC90 Seatpost, Selle Italia SLR Saddle, Profile Designs Bars & a pair of clip ons. I may be able to reuse the cables I have on my present bike since they are new, and the frame now is a little larger. I also have a FSA Team Carbon Crankset.
I need STI Lever for Rear. I am not going to have a front derailuer since it is flat here. A brake lever for the front. An ISIS bottom bracket, Stem, Fork, Chain, Cassette, Headset, & bartape. I may need new cables.
I am almost considering selling the DuraAce Stuff and buying 105 Components, but I am not sure if I can save money that way or not. I already have $250.00 in the frame, so I only have $250.00 to go. What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance,
Richard
