I ride the same inbound route same time everyday. I recognize a lot of the same drivers, too. I'm sure they recognize me, as well.
There's a traffic light that runs on a timer that I always have to count down to hit it on green. As I approach the light in the right lane, the drivers that pass me used to move in front of me in my lane and sort of block me at the light. But now, they seem to be staying in the left lane, as if they know I'm timing the light and are being courteous by staying out of my way so I can hit it on green.
Could I be wrong? Is there some other reason they might be lining up in the left lane, as much as 10 or 15 cars long, when there's an empty right lane in front of me?
If I'm right, I have to say I'm very touched. Thanks, folks!
