Hey, if you are really into that style stem, check out Cinelli Integralter (or possibly Integralters, I'm not sure) Same style stem, with a cool looking airfoil bar thats built in. You can find them on ebay still. It is 1 1/8 inch. Actually here is a link to an auction with them:

This is *very* tempting, but I don't ever get in the drops so I use bullhorns to stay up top or out forward.
I may see if I can get these on the cheap and pimp them as my "date" bars.
