Bikes: Gazelle Trim Trophy, EG Bates Track Bike, HR Bates Cantiflex bike, Nigel Dean fixed gear conversion, Raleigh Royal, Falcon Westminster.

Yes, I know, but there are some unanswered questions about them in my mind. They seem to have been built recently, for one thing. Lo-pros weren't around during Bates's heyday in the 50's, nor was 753, and the fact that they're equipped with Suntour is odd too. The guy thinks they were made about 10 years ago, but they sure as hell don't look that way, in terms of style, particularly the track bike. It's as old-skool as they come. Is Bates still manufacturing? Were they 10 years ago at least? If so, do recent bikes have similar cachet (and market value) to the older ones?

These bikes are my size, and if I buy them, there will be a HUGE temptation to keep them......
