Oh lord... here we go... Before someone else berates you for this topic, let me be the first to yell at you.... Do a search on the topic!!! It's been done a million times!!! (okay.... that's done. )

Being dutifully beaten down for your topic, here's the answer: Whichever you prefer.

You're going to hear that bibs rule all from a majority of folks here and that once you go bibs, you'll never go back.

I actually like shorts for a few reasons. One is not feeling as constricted by the bib straps. Two is the convenience factor when it comes to the call of nature and not having to remove straps when needing to make like a bear in the woods. Three, I don't get plumber's butt with good shorts, like my Pearl Izumis, which come up sufficiently in the back to avoid the dreaded 'quarter slot.'

Anyway, give both shorts and bibs a try.
