A messenger buddy of mine just bought his second pair after the first blew up after 2 years. 2 years under a messenger seems pretty durable to me.
All this shoe talk, just in time. I was planning to pick up a new pair anyway, but now I need to even more-I snapped the sole on my cheap specialized shoes riding trails last night. Anyone have experience with the Sidi bullet 2's? I'm thinking of picking them up, as I have a gift certificate from MEC. They are kind of pricey at 170 bucks-and don't look much better made than the cheap shoes. Still, I am tired of these cheap POS shoes blowing apart after 8 months of use. I'd like to get a couple of seasons at least.
