I picked up a couple of bikes last weekend. A Raliegh Marathon (85 according to the component dates), Fuji road bike, and two lugged Schwinn High Plains mountain bikes. I paid the most for the Marathon @ $30, but it is in nice shape and close to my size. I am going to build it into a fixed gear. Today I had a great find. During work (truck driver) we were driving around and I saw a couple of garage sales and a sign for an Estate sale. I went back after work to the garage sales, and all of them were closed down because of the rain. I then went looking for the estate sale. I saw a road bike when I drove by and did a quick U and stopped. I walked over to the bike. It is a full Reynolds 531 frame/forked Raliegh RRA with the white and yellow paint. It has simplex shifters/derailliurs, 3T stem, GB bars, Stronglight cranks, Brooks Professional saddle, and the wheels are Maillard Professional Hubs laced to AVA tubulars. I looked on Sheldons Raliegh site and it is a 1973 because that was the one and only year for it. I will try to post some pics of the RRA later tonight or tomorrow. Oh ya I almost forgot the best part I paid $24 for it!!!!!!
