I also was contemplating the Pilot 1.2 but ended up with the 2005 Sequoia Elite because the LBS gave me a deal that I couldn't refuse. The Sequoia has better components (full Shimano 105) and it cost me $100 less than I would have paid for the 2006 Pilot.

Since I have lower back trouble I was looking for a more comfortable ride and the Sequoia provides that for me and this bike will move if you want it to. I really love this bike.
