I have been fortunate in that even though I have spent a substantial part of my career outside in the oilfields of South Texas and West Texas I have never had a skin problem other than some little growths that have always been benign.

Some 30 years ago my wife, before she was my wife, introduced me to Lubriderm instead of aftershave, and I haven't used an alcoholic face rub since then. Fifteen years ago Lubriderm came out with an SPF 15 lotion, and I have used that everyday since then. I use it not only for my face, but an an all over body lotion (even if I am a guy). So, I usually have some skin protection as part of my daily ablution.

My favorite sunscreen is Mary Kay SPF 45 as I once spent a week at South Padre Island with nary a sunburn. But I like the idea of the small packs and I'll look for them.
