My brevet was about 2.5 hour drive from home. I spent the night in a state park near the start and drove home afterward so I was only up about 28 hours.

Unfortunately, all the ACP sanctioned 600K brevets are over in my area, so I'll probably have to wait until next year to do one of those. My RBA, the Lonestar Randonneurs, is pretty active though, and it's possible they might schedule a RUSA 600K later in the year. It wouldn't count toward a Super Randonneur award, but I've already exceeded my expectations for the year.
