Are you putting too much weight on your hands? The position of your saddle and bars might need to be checked. You might need to raise the bars slightly or get a stem that doesn't protrude as far forward, or move your seat back a bit so your legs support more of your weight. What about saddle tilt? If your saddle is tipped forward (ie. lower at the front) you may be sliding forward and contantly pushing back with your hands. Most people do best with the saddle level, or else a very tiny bit tilted up at the front so their butt slides back on to the wide part. I agree with the comment re padded gloves. Avoid letting the bar rest in the central groove of your hand beside the base of the thumb...that cuts off some circulation. Also, try to rol your hands forward on the bars to straighten out your wrists a bit. Change hand positions from time to time. Hope this helps.
