A non-sedating antihistamine and a steroid nasal spray are first line therapy. Claritin is over the counter now and is a reasonable first choice. Any nasal steroid such as Nasonex, Flonase, Nasacort or Rhinocort will help with the inflammation. Eye symptoms can be relieved with topical drops like Patanol.
