Called the bike shop to change out cassette and chain and see if I brought the bike in during lunch yesterday if they could do it then or by the end of the day so I could ride home. They were backed up from Mem Day wknd, so they said if I dropped it off they could do it by Thursday. I said I would call them later in the week so I could keep riding.

Wouldn't you know as I am riding up the Manahattan Bridge from Brooklyn, my chain broke. ARGHHH!!! Had to roll back down to Brooklyn and take the subway to the bike shop. Bike will be ready by Friday. If I had gotten to ride home yesterday and on today it would have been a 500 mile month.
