Rode home on the eighteen speed Klein last night since riding fixed has my legs feeling a bit blown. The weather was nasty this morning so took the fixed gear out and rode a more relaxed ride. It took a little bit longer but I feel better. Seeing many more folks out on MTBs with knobbed tires, especially between Cary and NCSU.

I should have waited or paid more attention to the radar. I threw on my rain gear only to find the roads drying in Raleigh and just damp in Cary. The clouds kept looming but never started raining until I crossed over into Durham for the last two miles of my sixteen mile trip. The inside of my gear was drenched and I've already drank a liter of water.
