On the way home through the DC monuments after a long night at the bar, I decided to ride alongside the Reflecting Pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial. I didn't account for the height difference between the grass and the marble edging along the pool, caught the lip of the marble which rubbed my tire, and I went in head first.

Bet some tourists loved bringing that story home......
