What keeps you guys motivated to work like when you are halfway through your shifts and are so tired of working?
It's nice to have extra money but my lifted truck gets 10 mpg and costs $80 to fill. thats a good 15 hours of work for me just to be able to fill my gas tank once. so pretty uch all my money goes to gas.
You want some cheese with that whine? Oh, right... you're so broke you can't afford wine, let alone cheese.
Gee, I wish I made another 40% or so.
You have a truck that gets 10MPG and are whining about how little money you have and want sympathy here? Trade it for something more efficient. I had to do that with my 10 MPG truck when I was about 20. I loved my truck; inherited it from my father when he died. Hated what I had to drive, but you do what you have to do.
We'd all like to be part of the idle rich, but we all work - most of us pretty hard. Some of us like what we do, others don't. If you don't like the situation you're in, change it. Find another job!
At 17, you're not going to make a hundred grand a year. At your current wage (~$14,000), you're probably about right for your experience, knowledge and such obvious enthusiasm. Once you get some more education and/or experience, your worth and therefore wages will go up appropriately. Of course, if you keep whining about having to work an honest 8 hours, no one's going to hire you... or keep you if they do. You can always build a better mousetrap and work for yourself, too.
