Thanks to cavernmech, I did what he suggested above and this is what my wife ended up with:
She's happy w/ it cuz it's lighter and it's an "adult's" bike (compared to the 24" wheeled kiddie bike from Toys R Us) and I'm happy cuz of the great deal Randall gave us.
So the question to cavernmech is, what brand of beer do you want me to drop by your shop with?
