I was on my way home on friday morning from my ride,around 8am and i see a cop stop a guy on a basic road bike.The guy way just riding,looked like a city worker guy going to work the way he was dressed,early 50's.Cop pulls up behind him and with the speaker says stop and he looks around and does.I ride a little more and circle to watch and the cop says drop it and he says let me put it on the grass,about 3 feet away and the cop says drop it and he says i dont want to drop it on the street,let me put it on the grass and the cop kicks it out of his hand.The rear rim is a prezel.He puts the gut on the hood,checks his licence and gives it back and leaves.Now that a jerk but like i tell my kids.Cops CAN do what they want and say what they want and get away with it.We still need them.
