every tooth makes a larger difference than one would imagine... but depending on how much of a masher or spinner you are, an 18 would be pretty decent. i'd personally vouch for a 19, but i have no clue how you ride...and if you like larger gears, than 18 is the ticket (i think it's 74 gear inches?)
