I posted my progress on this bike a few weeks ago, and said I would give an update when I was finished.
Well as you can see, it's done.
I definitely enjoyed building the bike as I learned a lot and had fun along the way.
I had a local bike shop install the crankset and cables, and tune it all up.
I was very impressed with the service and prices, (as compared to other local shops), and will definitely continue to do buisness with them. As a matter of fact I went back this weekend to buy a helmet and a camel back.

Anyway, I have been doing a lot of street riding since I picked it up to help break it in. Saturday I went out to some local trails and rode about 3 hours. I actually met another rider out there for the first time off of a local forum.

The bike rides very nice! (MUCH better than the X-Mart bike I broke).
It is very smooth and handles well. It also feels very solid and I feel connected to it when I ride. I LOVE IT!!!
