I think the future is dynamo-powered LED. Dynamo hub with Solidlights 1203D. There is a review here and some comments and comparaison with the Lumotec at the cyclingplus forum (search for 1203D). Very expensive but it's a "install and forget" thing. No bulb to change, no battery to charge, ever. Peter White sells Inoled brand.
