I just got this email from Plano Bicycle Association.

I would like to encourage everyone that could possibly attend the Anna city council meeting on June 13th to do so. No speaking required. Warm bodies is what we need. We cannot let cities ban cycling on FM roads under the banner of safety. We want to promote sharing the road through education and awareness. Please help support the Texas Bicycle Coalition, BikeDFW, and PBA in the cause. Don't let Bike Bans get a foothold in Texas.

Has any city in the US ever done this?
