I like the way they hide behind the issue of "safety" kinda like the "for the children" thing . Why ,who could possibly oppose safety . I hope this is snuffed out quickly ,or we will all be on the sidewalk down the road.
The other issue is business owners should also be concerned. From bike shops to coffee houses even equipment manufactures should also be wary of this development. If one state can pass a law like this so can another and then another. Here in Austin there a many LBS and most are road bike centric. A law like this could kill there busnessess.
