agreed. It is not needed or wanted by all. I love wearing cycling gear, lots dont. What is lacking by a lot of people (not here, in general i mean) is a profound lack of respect for people who are different. This attitude is puzzling to me, and the lycra/no lyra "artificial debate" is just one manifestation of this lack.

For our purposes here what I think matters is this: we all value bikes, we all value riding. We might value them for different reasons, but we all value them.
