I have an old (1990 or so) Schwinn 564 Aluminum road bike that I'm finally getting around to rebuilding and I'm a little lost. The bottom bracket needs to be replaced and I'm trying to find a suitable (and cheap) replacement, but I'm a little confused about the different sizes and types. I also don't know what tools I'll need to remove the crank arms and the bottom bracket.

If someone could provide me with some links, model numbers, or images of what I need (parts, tools, etc.), that would be really helpful.

The next thing I need is a headset. My fork has a 1" threaded steerer and I'm wondering if this headset from Nashbar would be a decent replacement.



The chain also needs to be replace and I'm thinking of using this
chain from Nashbar. The bike has a Shimano 7-speed rear derailleur. I also need a new rear wheel (thanks to some theiving bastards) so I'm trying to locate a 126 mm 7-speed rear wheel/cassette. Does anyone know where I might find a nice rear wheel/cassette other than Ebay. Searching there hasn't turned up much.

I'm also in desperate need of brake lever hoods for these levers. Does anyone have a good source of this kind of stuff? Ebay has been less than helpful here also.
