long rides?
ive been doing 1-1.5 hour long rides on my fixie, as i just started training again after track and field. i have a decent aerobic base, just not many cycling miles under my legs at this point, but im getting antsy and want longer rides but am questioning how long i should go on the fixie. i dont want to hurt my knees by overdoing the fixie, but i dont see how much different it is than my road bike, as i try to pedal constantly no matter what im riding. so how many people here regularly ride over 2 hours on their fixie?
i stay on rolling hills with no real climbs when im fixed so maybe that will help.
