to the OP, if done properly, you wouldnt even know the guy was there, and a brake check wouldnt do much cept cause him to release and move on

best way is to come up on right rear of car and lean against it or just grab the wheelwell with left hand and let friction do the work

I dont do it as a general rule, but I do lean against people's cars when they are stopped sometimes, caught myself doing that tuesday morning, I was still sleepy and a big ford explorer was sitting there so I leaned over against it and stretched and yawned. To me cars are just something in my office environment.
