This was from stage 4. I think he was suffering and then decided to back off.

Perhaps the most surprising was Floyd Landis (Phonak), who was the best placed GC rider behind Gilbert before the stage, and even had his team riding on the front to bring the break back before the climb. But Landis ended up finishing 56th, losing 9'30 and any hope of the GC win, and it will be his first week-long stage race loss this year. "I had a really bad patch," said Landis to L'Equipe. Like Ulrich I would expect him to show himself in at least one Mt Stage. If he doesn't I'm going to have some big doubts about his form for the Tour.
