That's just damned inconsiderate. It doesn't matter how much damage it may o rmay not cause... it's in considerate to think you can touch someone elses property w/o asking. As if cycling needs another reason for cagers to dislike us.
However, there are many people that don't care one bit and wouldn't even notice. I would though.

There is a German (I think) commercial kind of like this. In traffic a cyclist keeps leaning against/grabbing the same car at a series stoplights. At the third stoplight, cyclist puts his hand out and starts to lean without looking but the car stops short and cyclist crashes right over. I saw it once on the internet a few months ago and laughed my socks off. Haven't seen it since and haven't been able to find it again.
I would be p***** if someone leaned against my car. Touching my car is touching my third favorite thing behind my girlfriend and my bike (not necessarily in that order

). Naturally, retaliation must follow.
Skitching on the other hand - provided I know they are there - could be tolerable. Of course, I'd give them a ride they wouldn't forget for quite a while

. Is that a double standard? Maybe but skitching seems different to me - leaning seems more lazy to me while skitching is purposefull???
