the one time I have actually had a gun pulled on me in Chicago was on Lawrence in Uptown. I came out of an alley on my bike and almost knocked these two kids down who weren't paying attention. I stopped in time to avoid them, but looked up to a .45 barrel. The kid was no more than 16 or 17. All I could say was "whoa." He looked at me and stashed the gun and he and his friend took off.

After the NoNOS sprints, we were eating at a pizza joint nera Damen and 18th. I stepped outside to make a call and this guy runs by me. I look down Damen towards the direction he come from and see these two guys following him with bats. Alongside the batguys is a car, with two other guys with bats. I jusst walked back inside...didn't see a thing.

But it is the city. And the dumbfukks who decide to non-chalantly move into high crime areas thinking their money wil save them are far from right. I worked with a guy who bought a condo in Humboldt and he was surprised his car was broken into numerous times. Way to go, stupid.
