Interesting approach.

I just finished my rendition of this workstand:

The stand works great. I haven't tried holding the bike at a really funky angle, but it goes where I need it. I made mine really tall (clamps near 6 feet off the ground) to put the drivetrain up close to me. That makes it a little flexy, but I added some diagonals at the bottom, and that helps a lot with the flex.

I finally got around to buying one of those 225A farm stick welders, and this was just the project to pay for it Probably spent a total of 30 minutes welding/relearning welding.

Now I need to make a hidden hitch for my TSX and adapt a hitch rack for my Yak steelheads...
