I want a pure fixie to supplement my Rush Hour, so I can stop flipping the damn rear wheel. After lots of searching and reading, I've pretty much decided to get an IRO Mark V rather than a Pista or an Ebay Special (and building my own from Ebay finds seems far to hard and expensive). (The 2006 Pista is very sharp looking - perhaps too much so - and I like the idea of supporting the little guy)

From other threads it seems like Tony is pretty busy, so I was hoping folks here could answer a couple basic Mark V questions.

I'd like to get bullhorns (although I've never ridden a pair), and it seems that I'm far better off getting Nitto's on the Mark V for only $24 and then buying IRO track drops later on if I don't like them. With drops I'd get the 110mm stem to bring the overall TT length in line with my Rush Hour (which fits great in that respect), but since it looks like the bullhorns stretch you out a bit more (compared to riding on the hoods of the Rush Hour brakes), should I go with the shorter stem? Or are the slants of the bullhorns pretty close to the position of the hoods?

Second, what sort of brake does IRO put on the bike for $60? I'd really like a Dia Compe Tech 77 lever with the "parking brake" feature; would I be better off just getting a front caliper off Ebay or at the LBS and the Dia Compe lever seperately (which together should be cheaper than $60)?

Finally, does the Mark V come with any pedals?
