i have the Performance rollers, around $100 brand new and they are pretty damn good. no problems, balanced, smooth, not that loud, and sturdy. highly recommended.
a trick i use for watching tv is to set the rollers dead on to the center of the tv, about 10ft away. just keep your eyes on the tv and you should have no problems. ive only ridden them 4 or 5 times, but i stay on for an hour at a time, no problems.
