Good question,

I've created a list of all the 'Cross Canada Tours' that i could find online at: http://xcanada.roosmachine.com

I 've asked myself that question a few times. I'm easy really.. there are trips over a number of years on the site, although most are in one segment. I've met one guy last year that is doing it over 4-5 segments, and is finishing this year. A few trips dont go coast to coast, a there's even one that was aborted early.

I think to me its mostly about wanting to see the country from end to end or sea to sea or even just a big portion of the country. Do you limit the term to those that only hit all 10 provinces, what about the Territories? or those that dip into the USA to avoid the traffic of Northern Ontario? Heading up north adds a twist. Perhaps its "Across Canada' when you can claim the trip was more than just a regional trip (Just The rockies, or just Quebec) and it spans most of the major regions of Canada. The Mountains, the prairies, Ontario, La Belle Province, and the Maritimes.

But in the end, even if someone doesn't consider that 'Across Canada' it doesnt take away from the accomplishment and enjoyment of anyone's trip.

BTW: there are 7-8 trips currently on the go that are linked on that site and a few more that I need to add soon.
