I bought one of these to use in the event of a mechanical problem @ night. I can attest that they work great, but the best part is that they are REALLY SMALL. I've attached mine to my keychain - it's plastic, so it won't hurt the bike. Here's a pic of mine, and a link as to where I bought it:
