Yes. On the wheels I've converted, a couple didn't have enough room for a BB lockring. So I tightened them really tight and used blue locktite. On my first conversion, in fact, I asked in the order to Harris if they would throw a BB lockring in the order. The written response on the invoice said, "sorry, we're ought of lockrings. Sheldon says just use blue locktite." Of course, maybe they were just SAYING that, and never checked with him at all?

Whatever, thousands of trouble free miles later, never had a problem other than my first test ride around the block when it spun off on the second corner cuz I didn't keep peddling and hadn't locktited the cog or tightened it more than finger tight.
