I've seen a lot of Madones etc. around here - they're all-too-common, and I wonder how many of the owners are just buying them for the damned Lance factor. With $4000, I'd definitely go for something else.

Think a Bianchi L'una with white carbon fibre.. maybe a Cervelo Carbon Soloist. Ahh. So many bikes that'd I'd rather drop that kind of money on than a Trek.
