Mmmhmm, my commuter is my commuter. I might like something a bit nicer to use on the street some day, but just some random simple Platinum OX/Reynolds 631 offering with geometry I like. Nothing completely over the top because then I'd never be able to let myself lock it up anywhere without every component having a chain around it.

That being said, it would be nice to have a dedicated track machine as well. It'll be a long way to go until I'm competent on the FCV, but after our initial trip there it's something I can't wait to progress at. I figure I'll rent for awhile, then maybe just use my POS Pake to cut down on costs ... then after a seaon of actual racing I could justify spending $1000 on a bike if I really get hooked.
