While eating right is a good thing, you need to treat touring like you would the time from Thanksgiving to Christmas, i.e. it's not so much what you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas but what you eat from Christmas to Thanksgiving

Touring eats up lots of calories. It is an effort to just replace what you use much less eat more than you need. I really do get tired of eating while I tour particularly since I can't eat stuff that has much fat in it as I ride. I snack during the day and then try to reload at dinner and breakfast but I usually end up losing lots of weight on tour.
