Seriously.....you guys all ride in traffic every day. Don't count yourselves out prematurely. Identify the fast guys....suck wheel mercilessly....sprint past at line....gather glory and hot girl's phone numbers. You might not know the city as well as the fast messers...or have the skill to
lead thru traffic..but several of you are certainly fast enuf to hang in and follow. My first race ever I sucked the wheel of Kevin Lehman..he of the tree trunk legs that does the donut on a fixie...he was the fast guy back then. I stayed with him till I made an error in route and got second. If I had of just stayed on his wheel I could have won that one.
I am not sure who is showing as far as fast guys go but look for one of Jim Kuz..Dave Byers..Kevin Black. Some of the recent winners are out of town but if any of these guys show up they are the ones to stick with.
