I did some exploring today [by car :-(].

The N section of Braddock Rd. from Westfields W is fairly flat and nice but turns to gravel right at Bull Run PO Rd. They are in the process of paving it. When they finish it will be a nice route all the way out to New Rd. which turns S and goes to 234. You'll be able to pick up 234 S (not bad - some shoulder all the way) out accross 15 to Waterfall/Hopewell all the way to the Plains/Marshall and beyond.

Bull Run PO Rd. is still gravel from Braddock for about half its length. The paved section is SWEET - a beuatiful little tree-lined country road. If it were paved it would be the perfect route accross 29 to Compton/Bull Run Park. For now, I'll be using Pleasant Valley. A little jog S on 29 and a left to Bull Run.
