Without knowing a terrain it's impossible to answer that question. Also at what HR zone are you aiming for? Most new riders make a mistake of trying to go too fast, at too high intesity. Sure 10miles at 18mph sounds much better then 30miles at 12mph, but in the long run which one do you think will build your base better?
