No. Life as you know it is over and it's going get bad. Real bad. Before, she was playing catch-up (and of course you were quite supportive and never made any comments about it, right?). Now she's about to ride with you. In a couple of weeks you'll be playing catch-up with her while she sets the pace. And of course she'll be the model of civil.

She will brag to the entire world about her accomplishment--especially the part about dropping you. She tell everyone she knows. And then she'll tell everyone you know. Shoot, she'll probably discover BF and tell all of us. And we'll all have to be supportive--of her--and will laugh at you.
