I have a thankless task. The husband of a friend of my wife died.He was a avid biker-lotta bikes. She is in a battle with her in laws(usual stuff), and today she managed to get(under the watchfull eyes of the family's lawyer) two of the nicer ones. My wife volunteered my services to sell them.Lucky me!
Questions-
1)What is this Dean bike? Well, I know what it is-Titanium frame-24 speed XT derail,Sram 9.0 shifters-FSA carbon fiber crankset- 26" 217 wheels-White Hubs,Marzocchi fork. It isn't set up as a MTB bike-Richey 1.4 slicks- but I guess it could be a MTB. I guess I'm asking is it viewed as a "good bike"
2)What should I sell it for? I don't want to spend 3 months selling it, so what is a reasonable price-Ebay or otherwise. I think she wants $1050 for it(second hand thru wife), but I really have no feel for what it should/could go for.Since it is 24 speed-it must be 4-5 years old?
The recumbent-same story, but it is very new-maybe 5-6 months old.It has nice components-kinda a kick to ride.
