On my bike with a large open frame, I mounted it like this:


My commuter however is a hybrid, the top tube is more angled and there's not enough room for the lock on the inside like that. I couldn't find any good place for it, so I mounted it on the handlebars. I don't have a picture handy, I'll try to get one for you.
