1) I'll definately be careful with it. I should be looking to apply pressure in the middle of the starnut right?
2) No Home Depot here in Spain. That's OK though, my friend just told me he'd lend me his pipecutter, he says it cuts really well and it's literally impossible to cut at a non-perpendicular angle to the steerer tube (i.e. it's impossible to cut at an angle).
3) I see. Ah well, I'll ditch the headset spacer idea and just use a PVC pipe.

One last important thing:
I should cut the Marzocchi's steerer tube the exact same length as the RST's if I plan on using the same headset, frame, spacers & crown race right?
