Well today I was on my road bike, one of the few times I ride it these days, and a man in a small sedan almost hit me. Him and the car in front of him were taking a right turn which just happens to go through the bike lane. The lead car turned fine with plenty of roomm but I had just come off a hill and was going about 25-30mph. He slowed down and i thought for sure he was going to let me pass LIKE HE SHOULD. But to my utter horror he starts to turn right as i am crossing him. I slam on my brakes and swerve to the right and barely avoided him by inches. we both ended up coming to a stop and he drove off. I was livid to say the least. I downshifted and chased his as down. I knew there was a stop sign about 200 yards away so I hammered on the pedals and caught him. I pulled up next to his window and yelled "bike lane!" at him. He tried to act like the snobby little ***** he was and just gave me the finger like he was in the right. So I gave him the finger back and road off. Just wanted to share my story and let off a little steam. I should have knicked him with my pedal because then it would have been a hit and run by him.
